The Polish Journal of Critical Realism was established in 2023 and is closely associated with the Interdepartmental Chair of Critical Realism at the TWP Academy of Applied Sciences in Szczecin. The journal is published under the auspices of the International Association of Critical Realism.

The formula of critical realism is understood very broadly, as the conviction that the world also exists beyond our senses and imagination (real), and that it requires a number of complex tools and methods of research, which gradually bring us closer to, however, not completely attainable cognition.

The Polish Journal of Critical Realism is registered in the International System of Information on Continuing Publications and marked with the symbol: ISSN 2956-7750
